The Institute of National Governance and National Audit
As an important component of a country's political system, national auditing is a legal institutional arrangement which is empowered to restrain the use of power through supervision. The essence of national auditing lies in the fact that it constitutes an endogenous "immune system" within the macro system of national governance, with functions of prevention, disclosure and resistance. It is under such circumstances that the Academy of National Governance and National Audit (ANGNA), a university-based research institute with Chinese characteristics, is founded.
The ANGNA has a national and strategic viewpoint, and concentrates on urgent issues faced by China, emerging in the process of economic developing, social governing and national construction. Currently, our researches focus on the two major fields: national governance and national audit, and the inter-influence, interaction and mutually reinforcement of national governance and national audit are the main research objectives.
The ANGNA was organized by the President of Nanjing Audit University in 2016 and affiliated to the School of Government Audit. Prof. Jin Taijun, the Cheung Kong Scholars, is the executive president of the academy. A research group consisting of 6 professors, 5 associate professors and 4 lecturers is serving the academy.
We strike to become an innovative professional institute, with a national strategy and global vision. If you are interested in our research fields and seeking to contribute to the development of China, either domestically or abroad, you are always welcomed to join us.
